The company began operations in 2007, building and leading the international business of Pol-ka Producciones, distributing its formats, and forging co-production agreements. In 2013, Mediabiz closed a deal with ABC Studios, who acquired the format "Mujeres Asesinas" (Killer Women) – the first Argentine format to reach Hollywood – for the production of a series for ABC Channel, with Sofia Vergara (Latin We) as the executive producer.

Mediabiz marketed format and ready-made rights to various platforms in Latin America and Europe. It generated development and production agreements with major media outlets, OTT platforms, and studios in the regions. It signed agreements for the development of several telenovelas for Televisa and series for Viacom. Mediabiz, along with the agency Paradigm (US), secured the format "Julie & the Phantom," owned by Mixer, from Netflix US for the production of the English-language series. Renowned choreographer Kenny Ortega (High School Musical, Michael Jackson shows, etc.) was the showrunner. The series won three Emmy Awards. Mediabiz facilitated the partnership between Nippur Media and Cipher to create Embarcadero, a California-based production company. Mediabiz also packaged the rights, development, and production of new seasons of the series Mujeres Asesinas (Killer Women) in Mexico for Vix+.

Mediabiz structures and manages investment funds to participate in audiovisual production in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

The Mediabiz team advises media companies, producers, and leaders in the region. Its CEO serves on the boards of directors of prominent organizations.
